Published quarterly, Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, Caribbean
Focus Magazine delivers the flavor of the Caribbean right to
your front door. We give the West Indian community a taste of
home and focused relevant information you can use. There's
also local information about the Delaware Valley to keep you
posted of upcoming events and activities
Our mission is to be Greater Philadelphia's leading information
source for the Island community and for the past eight years we
have succeeded in doing just that.

The concept of Caribbean Focus Magazine was started by two
sisters, Clair Downie and Beverly Julal. Together they
persevered and developed the concept into what it has become
today. With few resources and even less money they pulled it all
together on a shoestring budget. The commitment they made to
themselves, and the community is now Caribbean Focus and
